Your 4-Step Journey to New Discovery

1. The Initial Connection

It starts with a simple conversation. When you express interest in a study, one of our local coordinators will reach out for a brief phone call. We will discuss your health history and the study goals to see if it might be a good fit for you.

2. The Screening Visit

If you qualify for the next step, we’ll invite you to our office.

  • Informed Consent: Our doctors will sit down with you to explain the study in detail, including the risks and benefits. You are encouraged to ask as many questions as you like.

  • Health Exam: We will perform a physical exam and any necessary lab work (at no cost) to confirm that the study is safe for you to join.

3. Active Participation

Once enrolled, you will begin your study visits.

  • Expert Monitoring: During these visits, our medical team will monitor your health more closely than in standard medical care.

  • Study Medication/Treatment: You will receive the investigational treatment or a placebo as outlined in the study plan.

  • No-Cost Care: All exams, lab tests, and study medications are provided at no cost to you or your insurance.

4. Conclusion & Follow-Up

When the study ends, we will conduct a final health check. We will coordinate with your primary care doctor at the Family Care Practice to ensure a smooth transition back to your regular health routine.
